Broadly ovate, very robust; black, very feebly shining; antennae sometimes paler apically. Pronotum transverse; margins slightly reflexed; basal impressions deep and broad; posterior angles narrowly rounded; disk coriaceous. Elytra deeply striate, obsoletely punctate apically; humeral carina extending to apical third. Length 20 -25 mm.
